30 years and 500+ weddings

This past weekend I photographed my last wedding. Over the last 30 years, I have photographed 500 plus weddings in several states and as far away as Ireland.  I can honestly say, I have enjoyed every minute of it.  However, due to growth of other areas of my business (and wanting more weekend family time) I am no longer booking weddings.  It was a tough decision, but I am now able to focus on the next decades and new adventures.  I plan to continue growing my business and providing high quality personal service to my ever-increasing list of clients.I am grateful for so many families trusting me with their special day. Capturing thousands of smiles and emotional moments ...

30 years and 500+ weddings

Brittany and Ryan's elegant wedding at the beautiful Stokesay Castle was filled with love, laughter...dogs and a flash mob.  The attention to detail they had put into their wedding created a amazing party atmosphere for their friends and families.  Not even a brief but powerful rainstorm could derail their perfect day.  Enjoy a few of my favorite moments through photos.  Congratulations to Brittany and Ryan!

30 years and 500+ weddings

Halloween was the date of my last wedding of the year.  Kristine and Matthew had the perfect day for a fall wedding and decided on Hopewell Furnace and French Creek State Park for the formals to capitalize the fall colors.  Some of the props available at the locations were wagons, old buildings, the furnace and Matthew’s Harley Davidson motorcycle.  Needless to say I had a blast with so many options and a great couple to work with.  Enjoy these few of my favorites and congrats to Kristine and Matthew!

30 years and 500+ weddings

Meghan and Nicholas’ wedding was unbelieveable.  The day started with photos at Meghan’s parents house followed by the ceremony at St. Ignatius Church in Sinking Spring, PA.  After the ceremony, we headed to their Shillington home for a few photos of Nicholas carrying his new bride over the threshold.  The rest of the formal photos were taken at a park in Wyomissing to take advantage of the fall colors.  The large bridal party was awesome all day and made the whole process enjoyable.  After many laughs and many photos we headed to the reception at Stoudt’s Brewery in Adamstown, PA.  This was an ideal setting for a party and party they ...

30 years and 500+ weddings

Despite a few curve balls by Mother Nature, Emily and Brian’s wedding day was perfect.  The ceremony was moved into a tent on the grounds of the Reading Public Museum due to the cool temperatures and a chance of rain.  The weather did not dampen the happiness of two families joining together.  After the ceremony and a few portraits around the museum, the bridal party traveled by trolley to the historic Abraham Lincoln Hotel in downtown Reading, PA. The hotel has an amazing lobby an plenty of unique architectural designs that make for great photos.  Emily wanted LOTS of photos and it was a pleasure working with her and planning her day of images.  Here are a ...
